Lawn bowling team lose first match
Manx Bowler Clive McGreal says extended time on the Gold Coast to acclimatise has been worthwhile.
Clive has been in Australia for three weeks ahead of the games opening yesterday. He and son Mark are representing the Island in the Lawn Bowls event.
In a truly family affair, Clive's wife Bernice is the Lawn Bowls team manager.
Clive told Chris Cave conditions in Australia are very different to the Island.
The team have played Wales today - but lost their first match, 22-11.
