Extra cost almost £40,000
The extra demand TT places on the Island's health service is planned and budgeted for.
That from the Deparmtent of Health and Social Care, which each year recruits additional medical staff at Noble's hospital during the fortnight.
Providing the extra cover cost almost £40,000 this year - a sum released in a Freedom of Information request.
Health bosses say the cost is anticipated and not out of the ordinary.
