
Social Care Minister Chris Robertshaw says merging adoption and fostering agencies will make for a cheaper, better service.
In the House of Keys today (Tuesday), Mr Robertshaw faced questions on the issue from Onchan MHK David Quirk.
Mr Robertshaw said the Isle of Man Adoption Service and the Children’s Centre, which provides foster care, want to merge.
He says subject to Tynwald’s approval, the changes will be in place by April this year – but has reassured the House it won’t impact either service:
