Storm Dennis expected at weekend
Hot on the heels of Storm Ciara, another period of fierce weather is expected to hit the Island this weekend.
Ronaldsway Met Office has issued an early alert for severe gales from 10am on Saturday morning through to 6am on Monday morning.
There's a risk of storm force gusts potentially reaching up to 70 mph, which could result in some travel disruption and a risk of minor structural damage in places.
The anticipated Storm Dennis will also bring spells of rain which will be heavy at times and coastal overtopping near to the time of high tides.
Further detailed warnings will be issued when required.
