Stay warm - and safe
We're being warned the "Beast from the East" is on it's way - at least if some newspapers are to be believed.
There certainly is no doubt we're in for a week - or longer - of very cold weather across the UK and including the Isle of Man, with temperatures expected to dip well below freezing overnight and only getting into low single figures during the day.
Whilst for many of us that may not be much of a problem, other than taking extra care on the roads, for the elderly and frail, such weather can be a particularly unpleasant and even dangerous.
Director of Public Health, Dr Henrietta Ewart, says some simple precautions can make a big difference:
