
Isle of Man litigation specialist, advocate Lindsey Bermingham has joined Douglas law firm Cains as a director.
Her main areas of expertise are listed as anti-money laundering, fraud, white collar crime and regulatory matters.
Lindsey is currently acting as local counsel for AIM listed company HIRCO plc in high court proceedings in the Isle of Man.
The case centres on a £300 million damages claim by HIRCO for alleged fraud and misconduct by a number of its former directors.
Director of advocates and professional services group Cains Peter Clucas said he was delighted to welcome Lindsey to the firm, adding: "Lindsey has consistently demonstrated the highest standards in her practice over a number of years.”
