Paul Becket to take up role in November
Senior Manx Advocate, Paul Beckett, is to be the Island's next Tynwald Ombudsman.
The function of the Ombudsman is to investigate and report on actions and alleged service failures of Government Departments, Statutory Boards and other public authorities in the Island.
Subject to Tynwald approval Mr Beckett will take up the role on 1 November, replacing Angela Main Thompson OBE, whose term of office comes to an end.
