Police statements, phone records and computer evidence provided the central feature at Douglas Courthouse today (Friday) on day four in the re-trial of the Island’s Attorney General.
Stephen Harding, 52, denies a charge of perjury and committing acts against public justice, relating to the winding-up of former Island company Street Heritage in 2010.
Today the court heard about Mr Harding’s police interview and appearance before an advocates disciplinary hearing.
They also heard that the advocate tasked with saving the Island business from collapse, twice refused offers to challenge its liquidation.
Proceedings will resume at 10.30am on Monday morning.
