Series of visits by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly
An historic agreement has been signed between the Isle of Man and a regional government almost four thousand miles away.
The memorandum of understanding between Tynwald and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly in northern Pakistan will cement parliamentary ties.
The M.O.U was signed yesterday by Asad Qaiser the speaker of the Assembly and his Manx counterpart, Keys Speaker Juan Watterson.
Three delegations have now come to the Island to learn about Tynwald's parliamentary practices, Hansard and IT systems
All 124 members of the Assembly will visit over the coming months.
Mr Watterson says the agreement demonstrates the appeal of the Island's political institutions:
