Organisers aware of environmental impact
Parish Walk organisers have been looking at how they can reduce the environmental impact of the Isle of Man's largest mass-participation event.
Plastic use is one of the biggest factors in this, with a lot of it being used for the likes of cups and bin bags.
Race Director Ray Cox says he has been helped by Mannvend, which has pointed him in direction of compostable options:
