A fault was identified yesterday that reduced screening capacity
Ronaldsway Airport has apologised to passengers who experienced delays or missed their flights due to a fault that affected security.
It says overnight on Saturday into Sunday, routine electrical work was carried out, which required a temporary isolation of power to parts of the terminal.
A fault was identified yesterday (19 May) that reduced screening capacity in the Central Search Area.
Those passengers who missed their flights are advised to contact their airline to make alternative travel arrangements.
Isle of Man Airport will keep travellers updated with any ongoing delays via its Facebook page.
