Just £5 generated in October 2021
Revenue from the car parks at Ronaldsway Airport is at an all time low.
The Department of Infrastructure collected £1,154 in 2021.
That's because car parking barriers were only in operation between August and November.
October generated just £5.
In 2020 - in the three months before the Covid-19 pandemic - the car parks took more than £125,000.
According to the statistics provided, as part of a response to Freedom of Information request, pre-Covid - in the years 2017-2019 - revenue topped £600,000 annually.
