Concerns for sick patients travelling
A charity representative is concerned for sick patients travelling through Ronaldsway Airport, after having what she's described as a 'farcical' experience.
Carole Male, vice chairman of Manx Breast Cancer Support Group, says security queues are unacceptable for the many 'walking wounded' who can't stand for long periods.
A committee from the charity travelled through the airport yesterday (6 Feb), and have since complained about the experience online.
According to Mrs Male they were stood at security for over an hour, hassled by a police officer for entering the patient transfer room, and told to run for the plane once they'd left security.
