
TravelWatch has welcomed the Infrastructure Minister's compromise over charging for parking at the airport.
The passenger watchdog had opposed the original plan, to do away entirely with free parking, while 150 people had written to the DoI saying they were against it too.
David Cretney, in the face of this opposition, yesterday announced people would be able to park for 30 minutes without paying anything in future, half the time it had been.
