Off-Island travel ground to a halt on Saturday
Off-Island travel is due to get back underway with today's Steam Packet sailings due to depart as scheduled following two days of cancellations.
Manxman will depart Douglas for Liverpool at 8:15am, arriving in Merseyside at 12:30pm.
Currently, no sailings between now and Thursday are at risk.
Meanwhile, flights will soon be heading in and out of Ronaldsway Airport which is reopening after closing for the entirety of yesterday (7 December).
The first flight of the day, the 8:15am to Liverpool, has however been delayed until just after 2pm this afternoon due to a late inbound flight.
The severe winds had an impact on a number of airports in the UK yesterday too. Air traffic restrictions were put in place at Heathrow and Gatwick airports and flights cancelled at Cardiff, Bristol, Cork and Dublin.
