27 organisations paid by DoI during 2022-23 financial year
Almost £1.2m was spent with companies that provide compliance support at the Isle of Man Airport last year.
Figures published by the Department of Infrastructure show engaging 27 organisations cost more than £1.19m in the 2022-23 financial year.
However, it stresses that not all of the funds necessarily went towards compliance activities, but there was no easy way to split the compliance and non-compliance spending.
The department says Ronaldsway is required to demonstrate compliance in a range of areas, including wildlife control, safety, security and lighting.
The information has been published following a Tynwald written question from Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Tim Glover.
