Ronaldsway achieves Level 1 Airport Carbon Accreditation Level
Ronaldsway Airport has strengthened its green credentials with a Level 1 Airport Carbon Accreditation.
It's the internationally recognised standard that marks an important step in the airport's commitment to sustainability and reducing its environmental impact.
Achieving the accreditation helps ensure the Isle of Man's airport remains an attractive and responsible partner for airlines operating services to and from the Island.
The Isle of Man Government says the work has been supported by Ricardo, a leading environmental, engineering and energy consultancy with extensive experience in aviation sustainability.
Interim Airport Director Geoff Pugh says: ‘Achieving Airport Carbon Accreditation Level 1 is an important milestone for Isle of Man Airport. It gives us a clear understanding of our environmental impact and provides a strong foundation for the work ahead.
'We are committed to building on this achievement and continuing our journey towards a more sustainable future for aviation on the Island.'
