Returning driver praises efforts made to get teams involved
Sidecar racer Alan Founds says this year's TT has been 'more challenging than most' as he makes his return to the Snaefell Mountain Course.
The 40-year-old missed the 2022 event due to injury and his initial passenger for 2023, Jake Lowther, was excluded earlier this week after recording a positive drugs test.
Founds has found a new passenger in Colin Smyth with whom he had his first runout on Wednesday night.
The driver, from Little Neston, explains the challenges that come with taking part in the racing fortnight:

Man treated for non-life threatening injuries following Ramsey incident
Consultation open on plans to formally recognise the heritage of Douglas Head
Police dealing with 'serious incident' in Ramsey
Drop-in session to support Isle of Man charities
