Recommended level for men falls to 14 units
The Island's new weekly alcohol consumption guidelines mirror changes made in the UK 13 months ago.
Yesterday, it was announced the recommended level for men was 14 units, down from 21.
A drug and alcohol steering group in government considered the changes in the UK as well as reviewing the guidelines in a number of European countries.
But Public Health Strategist Dawn Henley says it made sense to follow Westminster's lead:
