Former DHSC Minister wants the idea explored
An all-Island insurance policy should be considered, to pay for future nursing and residential care - according to a former health and social care minister.
Kate Beecroft says an increase in income tax, or employee national insurance contributions, could be used to pay for the cover.
In Tynwald this week, the MHK will move an amendment to a report which outlines possible models for funding future elderly care.
