MMCC chairman on Festival of Motorcycling cancellation
The Chairman of the Manx Motorcycle Club says the cancellation of this year's Classic TT and Manx Grand Prix had been on the cards for some time.
The news was confirmed this morning, in a joint statement from the organisation and the Department for Enterprise.
Dollin Mercer asked Peter Maddocks if the announcement will have come as a surprise, or if people would have seen it coming:
The event had been due to take place between 22 August and 4 September.
