Expert Joel Williams to address attendees
The Manx Grassland Society is to host a series of talks for World Soil Day.
The group is encouraging people from across the Island to attend to find out more about regenerative farming practices, and how they can:
- Improve long-term farmer livelihood
- Reduce costs
- Improve crop yield and quality
- Provide greater resilience to market volatility and extreme climate events
- Improve carbon capture and storage in the soil
The two-day event is free to all, with everyone welcome - you don't have to be a farmer to attend.
It will be held on Tuesday 5 and Wednesday 6 December.
Attendees will hear from expert in the field Joel Williams.
Full details of itinerary and venues can be found on the Manx Grassland Society Facebook page, HERE.
