30-year-old pleads guilty to criminal damage
A man will appear in court again next month over allegations he assaulted a woman at a party, before stealing her mobile phone.
Thirty-year-old Richard David Bell, of no fixed address, appeared before magistrates at Douglas courthouse.
He pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage to a door, but not guilty to charges of assault and stealing an iPhone 6.
Prosecution advocate Barry Swain said the allegations related to an incident at an address on Drury Terrace in Douglas on 4 February.
Bell was remanded in custody, and is next due to appear in court at a pre-trial review hearing on 12 March.
