Education minister provides figure in written answer
A strategic brief and feasibility study into plans for the new Castle Rushen High School have cost almost £100,000.
A new site has been in the works for past few years - with the current facility reportedly 'in a state of disrepair'.
In response to a Tynwald question for written answer the Education Minister has revealed there have been three feasibility / masterplan studies carried out on the proposed development since 2019.
Julie Edge says her Department is not currently in a position to publish the cost of producing the Masterplan Report for 2023, however, as the information is 'commercially sensitive' and confidential.
She adds that a strategic approach for Castle Rushen High School is currently being finalised and may be able to be shared in 'the coming weeks'.
