Loco has been used on 31 days since 2019
The government has spent £249,000 repairing a diesel locomotive which still doesn't work.
It's been used for 31 days since 2019, with its last service in 2021.
Responding to a recent freedom of information request, the Department of Infrastructure says it estimates a further £40,000 will need to be spent to return the locomotive to service.
The government bought it for £400,000 in 2013.
