Not all bank workers from off-Island have fees reimbursed, says DHSC
Funding accommodation for off-Island healthcare staff has cost the Isle of Man's health service almost £26,000 since the start of 2020.
14 visiting bank staff have been reimbursed for their accommodation fees while working on Island, according to figures published by the Department of Health and Social Care.
The DHSC says not all bank staff from off Island get their accommodation fees paid, as it depends on the speciality needed at the time.
A further 72 resided in Manx Care facilities, but paid the costs themselves.
