50-55mph winds also expected
The Ronaldsway Met Office has issued an amber weather warning for snow for tomorrow.
It's expected to fall on ground above 500ft between 10am and 11pm.
It says an area of rain, sleet and snow is expected to affect the Island from late morning before tending to peter out later in the evening.
Strong to gale force easterly winds are also expected to develop with gusts up to 50-55mph possible.
Given the strength of the wind significant blowing snow is possible leading to deep drifts in places, more especially towards the west of the Island.
