Compression only CPR is recommended
Those who find themselves needing to perform CPR in an emergency are advised not to use mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.
It's due to fears about the spread of Covid-19, with new guidelines now provided by the Isle of Man Ambulance Service.
The updated advice is being followed by volunteers of the Manx branch of the St John Ambulance, which provides first aid training courses.
