Hundreds of homes can now be built
The Eastern Area Plan has been adopted by Tynwald today (18 Nov).
It will see zoning of the most populous part of the Isle of Man for development, with more than 900 hundreds homes expected to be built.
The plan didn't pass without being changed first though.
A number of amendments were made by Douglas East MHK Clare Barber and agreed to by Tynwald members.
