Oie Voaldynm celebrates the end of winter
An ancient tradition will be revived in Peel next month.
Oie Voaldynm, or the Manx Fire Festival, celebrates the end of winter and start of summer.
Held over the first bank holiday weekend in May, there will be among other things a Viking torch lit procession, local bands and fireworks.
Any money raised will go to Hospice Isle of Man.
Organiser John Shakespeare promises something for all the family and is looking for people to take part in an exciting mock battle.
