World Bonnag Championships conclude in Dalby
The World Bonnag Champion 2017 has been crowned.
Carolyn Kinrade scooped the Isle of Man Creameries' coveted Buttermilk Trophy in last night's annual contest at the Dalby Schoolrooms.
The traditional 'truly Manx night' also saw Eva Jones win the Children's category; Dominic Gordon for the Gents; Vanessa Callin for her Gluten Free bonnag; and the Shoprite Trophy for professional bakers went to Niarbyl Cafe.
Entertainment came from Dot Tilbury, Peter Qualtrough and the Southern Belles - with proceeds being split between the Dalby Church Restoration Fund, Craig's Heartstrong Foundation, and Excellent Development overseas.
