A Liberal Vannin general election candidate in Onchan says the party doesn't see itself as opposition, so much as a government in waiting.
Zac Hall, 33, who is a qualified airline pilot, says he has a long-held ambition to enter the world of politics and feels Lib Van has evolved and matured into a credible political party.

The other candidates who have declared in Onchan so far are local commissioners June Kelly and Brian Stowell, and outgoing MHKs Adrian Earnshaw, Peter Karran and David Quirk.
