An Andreas man has been sentenced to an indefinite hospital order with restrictions after pleading guilty to the manslaughter of his mother.
James Hywel Price admitted strangling his mother at their home address on 17 January 2021.
Mr Price was charged and has since been held at a specialist hospital in the UK.
In a statement, Senior Investigating Officer, DI Michelle McKillop said "Mr Price was suffering significant undiagnosed and untreated mental illness."
