Document brands transportation of livestock 'filthy' and 'cruel'
A petition calling for the end of livestock exports from the Island has garnered more than a thousand signatures.
The document describes the transportation of animals as a 'filthy, cruel trade'.
Government says particular groups of livestock achieve better prices in the UK - hence a significant rise in the numbers being exported.
Environment, Food and Agriculture member Tim Baker believes it's raised concerns over animal welfare:
