Higher ground and sheltered low-lying spots most at risk
Another yellow weather warning's in place for frost and icy patches tonight (Tue 10 Dec).
Ronaldsway Met Office says road surface temperatures may fall close to or slightly below freezing under any prolonged clear spells that develop.
The areas said to be most at risk are higher ground above 1,000 feet and sheltered low-lying spots in central, western and southern parts of the Island.
The Department of Infrastructure says the Mountain Road is being pre-salted this evening.
Meanwhile other winter gritting routes likely to be affected by this weather front were either pre-salted this morning or last night.
The warning is in place from 6pm until 11am tomorrow.
