 
                            DHA working on legislation as a priority
Introducing Automatic Number Plate Recognition technology on the Isle of Man will act as a ‘valuable intelligence tool’ for police.
That’s from the Home Affairs Minister who says whilst it’s a priority for her department she can’t confirm when it will be brought in.
Earlier this month the Isle of Man Constabulary said it was working with government, and law enforcement agencies, to strengthen the security of our borders.
In the House of Keys Jane Poole-Wilson said the Island would adopt the UK approach but adapt where needed.
