Graffiti praising the man charged with the murders of two police officers in Greater Manchester has been daubed on a property in the south of the Island.
The writing, painted in black on the garage door of a house, says "Dale Cregen (sic), cop killing hero, justice 96, die all police".
One of the police officers killed in Tameside last month, Fiona Bone, was schooled on the Island and has friends and family here.
If you have any information about the graffiti call police on 631212.
