Armed officers in Douglas search
Police are appealing for witnesses after reports of a man carrying a shotgun near a busy Douglas supermarket this morning.
Armed officers searched the area around Bridge Road and Lake Road at around 8am after reports from the public the man was carrying the gun under one arm, partially covered with a bin-bag.
He’s described as being in his early 50’s, balding with grey hair, wearing a dark jacket and trousers with a backpack.
