Supporters of Curragh's Wildlife Park hope to keep animals fit and healthy
Supporters of the Curragh's Wildlife Park are appealing to the Island’s animal lovers to help fund new equipment.
Donations will provide ‘toys’ to keep animals ‘fit and healthy’ during these difficult times.
Chairman of the SCWP Kim Etherton says the “animals are really missing everyone” and any financial support will be appreciated.
Paddling pools with balls, a broom base scratching post and webbing for the lemur hammocks are just some examples of the equipment which hopes to entertain the park’s animals.
Funds are also needed for enclosure materials such as timber, chains, bamboo and plastic tubing.
General Manager Kathleen Graham says “keepers are flat out maintaining our enclosures and keeping the animals healthy and well fed” and would welcome the help.
Donations can be emailed to supportersCWP@manx.net or you can find out more information about payment details on the Curragh's Wildlife Park Facebook page.
