
Campaigners fund-raising for a dedicated breast unit at Noble's Hospital are appealing to other Island charities to get on board.
The Manx Breast Cancer Support Group led by breast surgeon Millie Bello and MHK Brenda Cannell launched their £600,000 appeal this month.
A dedicated unit at Noble's would increase the range of treatments available and improve services for the 3000 patients seen each year.
Fund raiser Carole Male has joined the group to spearhead a two year appeal.
She's asking other charities whose money is sent to larger campaigns and research projects in the UK, to consider supporting a local appeal next year:
