Brandywell Junction incident on Thursday
Police are appealing for witnesses of a fatal road traffic collision on the Mountain Road on Thursday evening (12).
The incident occurred at roughly 6:30pm around the Brandywell Junction, and involved a blue Vauxhall Zafira and a black Honda Fireblade motorcycle.
The bike's rider, a 54-year-old male from the UK, was pronounced dead at the scene, and the car's passengers were taken to hospital but have since been discharged.
