The Social Care Minister has insisted there's a fair and thorough appeals process open to anyone who loses incapacity benefit after undergoing an Atos Healthcare test.
Chirs Robertshaw was quizzed in the Keys today on the work capability trial carried out by Atos last year.
He revealed after more than 200 assessments, 67 claimants have been judged fit for work.
Only two appeals were lodged, one was dismissed and one is still pending.
The Department of Social Care brought Atos assessors to the Island for a six month trial last year.
The minister told the Keys what happens if an appeal is rejected:
Work underway to re-establish private patients unit
