Chief Minister responds to findings of public consultation
There is a clear appetite to reform the Island’s ratings system.
That’s the view of the Chief Minister after the findings of a public consultation were released.
Proposals to shake-up the system have received broad support with many keen to switch the basis of rates from the rental value of a property to its capital value.
Allan Bell says there would be a clear direction of travel if the majority’s wishes are followed.
