73-year-old also accused of indecent assault
A pensioner has appeared at Douglas Courthouse after being accused of two counts of rape.
The 73-year-old, who can’t be named due to restrictions brought in by Manx politicians last year, is also facing four charges of indecent assault.
The offences were allegedly committed between 5 August 2019 and 5 August 2021.
Committal proceedings – where the case is elevated to the Court of General Gaol Delivery – are due to take place on 17 April.
He’s been bailed until that date.
