Isle of Man Society of Architects to host relaunch
Fans of programmes like Grand Designs are being encouraged to go along to the relaunch of a Manx group whose aim is to promote architecture and design.
The Isle of Man Society of Architects, or SofA was formed in 2013 but hasn't held any public events since the Covid pandemic.
On Thursday there's an official relaunch featuring award winning architect Richard Murphy OBE who will talk about his own work as well as his study of a Venetian architect called Carlo Scarpa.
SofA Chair Martyn Thomas says Mr Murphy's influence extends internationally:
