Several arrests after man found injured
Armed police were called to an incident in Peel last night.
The call out came around 6.30 pm after reports had been received of an injured man near a property in Castle Street.
Several people were arrested at the scene are currently helping police with enquiries.
The man's injuries weren't life threatening. He was taken to Nobles Hospital for treatment but has since been released.
Roads around the area were cordoned off for a time while investigations took place, but are now all open again.
Police say the armed officers were deployed in the initial stages of the incident, but there was no danger to members of the public.
