Call out 'resolved quickly' says inspector
Armed police were deployed in Douglas last night.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing officers in the area of Broadway.
Police have told Manx Radio the call-out was as a result of information received from the public and the matter was "resolved quickly".
Inspector Gavin Callow added: "As enquiries are ongoing we are unable to comment any further."
