No risk to the general public
Armed police were deployed to Pulrose last night to deal with an undisclosed 'incident'.
Officers attended Alder Road at around 8.30pm (31 August).
Eyewitnesses reported that the area was closed to vehicles and pedestrians.
In a statement issued to Manx Radio police say: "The matter was dealt with and police confirm there was no risk to the general public."
