Driver of vehicle 'safely detained' on Clifton Drive
Armed police have this morning had to forcefully stop and detain a vehicle.
Two armed response vehicles were deployed to Clifton Drive at 11am, responding to reports of a person in crisis.
The Isle of Man Constabulary says the individual was detained safely after a short period of negotiation.
Officers say no members of the public were placed in harm's way during this time.
