Police appeal for witnesses to incident this evening
Police are appealing for witnesses after an incident in Peel this evening sparked by reports of a man carrying a knife.
It happened in the area of Kerroo Coar.
Officers closed the area off whilst they were containing the matter and say there were no injuries sustained.
They now want to speak to anyone who saw what happened including two youths who came face to face with the male involved.

A spokesperson for the Isle of Man Constabulary said: “Police are keen to emphasise that whilst they will deal with such incidents robustly, the Isle of Man remains a very safe place to residents and visitors.”
